Josephine (or “Jo”) wants to live in a world filled with innovative ways of being and doing church, as well as having heart-to-heart conversations that come coupled with bottomless flow of aromatic coffee.  As a pastor/counselor with combined 30 years of experience, she’s had her elbow greased in youth pastoring, chaplaincy overseas, classroom teaching, leading short-term mission trips, young adults pastoring, and clinical counseling.  Though geography and context may have shifted and changed through the years, music ministry has threaded through it all.   It is, by far, her most favorite and natural way to serve and pastor.

Outside the context of ministry, you can probably find Jo binge-watching Netflix, fiddling with Spotify playlists, reading a Louise Penny mystery novel, or connecting with a friend over a meal or beverage.  She came to appreciate traveling later in life and has now planted her foot in 15 countries thus far (16, if you consider the Arctic Circle a country).
