"The Creator arranged things so that we need each other.” —Basil of Caesarea
We were not meant to take our faith journeys alone. Growing in Christ often requires that believers grow together. We get a hint of this reality when we go through the scriptures and see just how many instances believers asked to do things for one another. Even on quick review it is difficult to see how one can be faithful to the biblical text without connecting themselves to some sort of intentional community.
The difficulty with trying to practice our, “one anothers” on sundays at The Tapestry is that it’s hard to do life together fully in such a large group setting. It’s difficult to to be completely open or present when there are so many other demands and people around. Small groups are there to bridge that gap. They help us enter into the joy of practicing our, “one anothers” with each other.
We offer a number of small groups throughout the week in Richmond and in Vancouver. For more information, please contact karen@thetapestry.ca
